The visit comes within the (20) session of Sanabel Al Mahabba Festival organized by the school. The event aims at achieving the principle of community partnership through the contribution of community members in supporting the education and empowerment of persons with intellectual disabilities as well as providing modern means and techniques in accordance with the best international practices in the field of special education.

The proceeds of Sanabel Al-Mahaba, which the school has been organizing since 1998, will be in favor of developing school's programs for people with disabilities. In addition, it invites community members to learn about the services provided to people with disabilities and contribute to its support and provision through material and in-kind donations.

The visit also aims to allow guests to learn about the services provided by the school to its students, which continued as other services of the departments and branches of the City during the Corona period remotely. The school’s role was not limited to providing educational and rehabilitative services only, but it also worked to provide all curative, health and legal services to students. It also worked on developing the adaptive and societal skills of students with intellectual disabilities through the principle of self-advocacy. The school provided family awareness services through Fathers, Mothers and Brothers Councils, in addition to community awareness. The school works to build awareness of human rights and mental disability through community activities such as the Mental Disability Week and educational campaigns.
