A dazzling theatrical show and an amazing performance For Human Services Students At the closing ceremony 2024 ـ 2025

At the closing ceremony of the school year's events, 72 creative members of the Sharjah City for Humanitarian Services (SCHS) wowed the crowd. SCHS President Her Excellency Sheikha Jameela bint Mohammed Al Qasimi, SCHS Director General Her Excellency Ms. Mona Abdul Karim Al Yafei, and SCHS's strategic partners were present at the event, which was held on Wednesday, June 25, 2025, at the Sharjah Cultural Palace Theater. "Bank of Sharjah"...and government agencies that support SCHS's operations, as well as a sizable number of parents, media professionals, authorities, staff members, and other interested parties.

Members of the Arts for All Center "Falaj" and students from SCHS's various departments and branches successfully embodied one of the most profound ideas that dominate public opinion with the tremendous advancements in artificial intelligence technologies and valid questions about the future and the hope of finding answers to the problems we face. This was demonstrated during the theatrical performance "I'm AI."

The theatrical performance, to the amazement and admiration of the audience, also witnessed the use of modern technologies that enabled synchronization between acting, live performance, and images derived from artificial intelligence interpretations of the questions that revolve in everyone’s minds about our future life in all human, scientific, and practical fields.

Pioneering the use of art to serve people with disabilities

Her Excellency Sheikha Jameela bint Mohammed Al Qasimi expressed her pride and appreciation for the amazing performance presented with high professionalism by SCHS’s members, stressing SCHS’s precedence in employing art to serve people with disabilities through the establishment of the Emirates Group for Special Arts in Sharjah in the year1995.

She added, “SCHS was the first to adopt color music education for people with intellectual disabilities in the year2009. Later, SCHS established the Artistic Creativity Group for People with Disabilities, independently and complementary to the Emirates Special Art Group, in the year 2010 to crown these efforts in the year 2017 By establishing the Art for All Center"Falj”, as a continuation of its previous successful steps in this field.

She explained that the closing ceremony of the academic year's activities is not limited to the distinguished artistic and theatrical performance, but also aims to support the talents and abilities of students with disabilities, highlight them, and raise awareness of them in society.

Thanks, gratitude and appreciation

The national song opened the closing ceremony, and then student Maitha Abdul Rahim Al Hammadi, who attends Al Wafa School for Capacity Development, read passages from the Holy Quran. After welcoming the guests, the two hosts of the event, Lamia Jamal Mohammed and Samah Imam Al Balushi, who are both affiliated with the Masarat Center for Development and Empowerment, emphasized that Sharjah City for Humanitarian Services is eager to host the closing ceremony of its programs and activities annually in order to show pride in its students who are getting ready for a fresh start.

On behalf of all their colleagues, they expressed their sincere thanks, gratitude and appreciation to Her Excellency Sheikha Jameela bint Mohammed Al Qasimi, President of SCHS, for the unlimited support she provides for their education, training, integration and improving the quality of their lives and the lives of their families.

They also extended their sincere thanks to the parents who spare no effort in educating their children and developing their skills and abilities. Thanks also go to the teachers, specialists and administrators at Sharjah City for Humanitarian Services, wishing everyone continued success.

Opening horizons for cooperation and community participation

In addition to highlighting the remarkable and long-lasting efforts made by the Sharjah City for Humanitarian Services in containing, advocating for, and empowering people with disabilities in all fields, Mr. Mohammed Bakr, Director of the Art for All Centre (Falaj), emphasized that one of the main goals of the closing ceremony was to showcase the artistic talents and creative abilities of people with disabilities, to inspire artists with disabilities to keep improving their artistic and creative abilities, to open up opportunities for collaboration and community involvement, and to empower creative people with disabilities within the artistic and cultural movement in the United Arab Emirates and its local, regional, and global surroundings.
