Event Info
Under the generous patronage of His Highness Sheikh Dr. Sultan bin Muhammad Al Qasimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Sharjah, and Honorary President of Sharjah City for Humanitarian Services, the Emirate of Sharjah will host the 18th World Conference under the theme "We Are Inclusion", from September 15 to 17, 2025, at the Expo Centre Sharjah.
Organized by Sharjah City for Humanitarian Services (SCHS) in partnership with Inclusion International, and supported by the Sharjah Government Media Office and various local strategic partners, the conference will welcome over 850 participants from 115 countries, including self-advocates, their families, experts, and decision-makers in the field of intellectual disability and inclusive practices.
About the Conference
The World Conference “We Are Inclusion” is the most significant event organized by Inclusion International and takes place every four years in different countries. Previous editions were hosted in the UK, Mexico, Germany, and Kenya. Hosting the 2025 edition in Sharjah reflects the emirate’s global role in promoting the rights of persons with disabilities.
